Kevin’s organic heirloom tomatoes and Dietzler Farm beef (certified sustainable & humane by the Food Alliance) are the stars of this ready to eat, shelf-stable sauce which was inspired by the classic Midwestern beefstew. Cloves, bay leaves and cinnamon give this slow cooked sauce the hearty character. The sauce is slow cooked for five hours, for the flavors to come together for a mighty tasty experience.
Busy day? Just pop up a jar (which holds four servings) and enjoy it over pasta for a delicious meal. Or use the sauce as a flavorful starter for your own culinary creations: as the base of a casserole, or add more vegetables and serve over polenta or rice.
