Californian Extra Virgin Olive Oil

Darro and Olivia’s organically farmed grove is situated on the edge of the Northern Sacramento Valley, right next to the Table Mountain in a very lava rich soil. The microclimate there is very different from the Valley floor, with less intense heat and more air flow, which allows for great maturation of the Mission olives that are dry farmed here.

The olives are hand picked and milled within 24 hours below 70 degrees to guarantee the highest quality Extra Virgin Olive Oil. The fruity character of Californian Mission olives, together with a mildly robust finish, makes this the perfect match for vinaigrettes, vegetables and fish.

Recipe Suggestion: With winter in full swing, warm food is much more fun than cold salads. We suggest you throw your veggies just briefly in a pan to warm them slightly and then dress them with Darro's Extra Virgin Olive Oil and a dash of vinegar for a warm salad!
