We believe in home cooked meals! They give you control of what you are eating, what ingredients are used and create unique possibilities to spend time with your family and friends over a shared meal. And through the preparations, cooking together, experimenting with flavors and ingredients, it is time well spend.

That being said, home cooked meals do not need to be five course elaborate affairs. You can create a delicious meal in no time with as little as four ingredients – as long as they are real food with real taste. The less taste the various ingredients have, the more of them you need to create a taste sensation.

Please, if you can, try to buy local vegetables and fruits at your farmers’ market or join a CSA (Community Supported Agriculture) for your weekly delivery of farm-fresh, local produce. It has traveled less, was picked at the last moment and will be packed with not only better taste, but also more vitamins and nutrients. On the same note, we suggest you look for pasture-raised poultry and meet. Not only does it taste better – you can be sure the animal you are eating has had a happy life, without the stress of intensive animal farming and the antibiotics and hormones needed in such an environment tainting the meat.
